Human Rights Charter

Doosan Mottrol is committed to respecting and promoting human rights across its business operations. To prevent potential human rights violations and effectively manage related risks, the Company has established this Human Rights Charter.

We conduct our business in accordance with internationally recognized human rights standards, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs). We are dedicated to respecting the dignity and rights of all stakeholders and fostering a culture that values fairness, inclusion, and mutual respect.

Should any human rights concerns arise, we will make our utmost effort to provide appropriate remedies and address adverse impacts. Through ongoing improvement and responsible business practices, we aim to contribute to sustainable development and create long-term value for society.

Human Rights Management Policy

    Non-Discrimination in Employment and Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining

    Doosan Mottrol prohibits discrimination in employment, job assignments, promotion opportunities, incentive compensation, training and development, wages, benefits, and all other employment-related matters based on gender, marital or pregnancy status, social status, nationality, region, race, religion, disability, political opinion, skin color, ethnicity, age, educational background, place of origin, family relations, or any other discriminatory grounds.

    We respect employees’ rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining and do not disadvantage any employee for participating in lawful labor union activities.

    Prohibition of Forced Labor, Child Labor, and Human Trafficking

    Doosan Mottrol prohibits all forms of forced labor, including human trafficking, and does not require employees to surrender personal identification documents, passports, or other forms of identification as a condition of employment.

    We do not employ children under the age of 15. For young workers aged 15 to 18, we ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including the protection of their right to education. Young workers are not assigned to hazardous work that may threaten their health or safety, including night work or excessive overtime. For overseas operations, we comply with the minimum employment age requirements established by the relevant country.

    Should any case of child labor be identified, we will immediately take appropriate remedial measures and work to prevent all labor practices that undermine human dignity.

    Compliance with Labor Standards and Humane Treatment

    The Company complies with legally prescribed working hours and adheres to applicable labor laws and regulations in all countries where it operates.

    We provide employees with fair compensation that meets or exceeds applicable minimum wage requirements and furnish wage statements that clearly explain compensation details. Overtime work is compensated in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

    We respect the privacy of all employees and prohibit any form of inhumane treatment, including mental or physical coercion, abuse, intimidation, harassment, or unlawful confinement. We are committed to protecting employees’ dignity, health, and right to rest while fostering a healthy and respectful working environment.

    The Company strictly prohibits workplace violence, bullying, harassment, and sexual harassment. Appropriate disciplinary measures and victim protection procedures are implemented in cases of violations.

    Protection of the Human Rights and Environmental Rights of Local Communities

    All employees shall respect the human rights of local communities, including the rights to life, personal security, freedom of movement and residence, and property ownership.

    In addition, we adopt a precautionary approach to environmental issues and strive to prevent and mitigate significant environmental damage and environmental disasters that may affect local communities and future generations.

    Protection of Customer Rights

    When providing products and services, Doosan Mottrol strives to protect customers’ safety, health, lives, and property. We exercise due care in the design, manufacturing, labeling, and distribution of our products in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

    In the event of a product-related risk or incident, we promptly inform affected customers and take appropriate corrective actions, including product recalls where necessary.

    To protect the privacy of customers and employees, we comply with applicable data protection and privacy laws and safeguard personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or misuse.

    Occupational Safety and Responsible Supply Chain Management

    Doosan Mottrol provides a safe and hygienic working environment and works proactively to prevent workplace accidents through regular inspections and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and tools.

    We comply with all applicable environmental, health, and safety laws, regulations, and standards and implement additional safety and health measures for pregnant employees, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable workers where necessary.

    To promote a sustainable and responsible supply chain, we monitor the human rights practices of our suppliers and business partners. Where serious human rights violations are identified and remain uncorrected, we may suspend or terminate business relationships with the relevant parties.

Reporting System

Employees and stakeholders who experience or become aware of a potential human rights violation or become aware of a violation of the Human Rights Policy may submit a report through any of the following channels:

Employees must not disclose, directly or indirectly, the identity of a reporter or any information that could reasonably lead to the identification of the reporter.

The Company strictly prohibits retaliation, discrimination, harassment, or any other unfavorable treatment against individuals who raise concerns or make reports in good faith.

Reporters who experience retaliation or any form of disadvantage as a result of making a report may request corrective actions, including reinstatement, restoration of rights, or other appropriate remedial measures. The Company is committed to protecting reporters and ensuring that concerns can be raised without fear of reprisal.
